Positioned on the small headland that separates Kata Yai from Kata Noi, the Kata Sun Beach Inn is a delightful budget hotel with good clean accommodation and only 100 meters or so from Kata Yai Beach. Guestrooms are of ample size for a budget hotel and complete with most amenities and modern facilities. Just outside the hotel are any number of shops and fine restaurants. All in all a nice hotel with friendly service and atmosphere.

Smack in the centre of the Town of Kata, the Kata Smile Inn is a cosy little budget hotel that offers Superior and Deluxe accommodation with a reasonable range of facilities. Guestrooms are surprisingly large for such a small budget hotel and clean as a whistle as well. With Kata Beach only a five minutes walk from the hotel, the Smile Inn Kata Beach is an interesting option for those on a tight budget and do not need to be directly on the beach.
