Poised on a hillside midway between Kata and Karon the Peach Hill Hotel and Resort is very conveniently located. Only 300-400 meters from the beautiful and secluded Kata Beach, nonetheless a hotel shuttle bus runs every hour to ferry guests to the beach and as well visitors can literally walk through the resort and end up in the heart of Kata. With 211 good sized guestrooms, friendly service and an adequate range of facilities, the Peach Hill Resort is a fine three star hotel.

Well situated near Kata Beach with the small village of Kata a quick 3-5 minutes on foot and 5-7 minutes walk to the peaceful and secluded Kata Beach the Serene Resort Phuket offers 177 clean and comfortable standard, superior and deluxe guestrooms. Designed so that rooms overlook one or both of the hotel's two swimming pool the Serene Resort has many of the facilities of a larger resort together with the friendly, family style service of a small hotel. Poised atop the hill at the southern end of Kata Yai with sweeping views of Kata Bay the scenic 3 star Tropical Garden is just a three minute walk to Kata Beach while getting to Kata Village is a 5-7 minute leisurely stroll from the hotel. Featuring 206 comfortable guestrooms with balconies and superb views of the ocean, the Tropical Garden Resort has a well earned reputation for gracious, attentive service at affordable down to earth rates.

Posited on a gentle sloping hill with stunning views overlooking Kata Beach, the Orchidacea Resort Phuket is a mere 3 minute walk to the beach and about 5 minutes walk to the village of Kata. Offering 112 spacious, clean and comfortable guestrooms that face the beach, each with a cosy terrace with deck chairs to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Orchidaceae Resort Phuket is a reasonably price three star hotel that provides warm and friendly service.

Tucked quietly away along a small lane that slopes gently down to the beach of Kata is the Kata Minta. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Kata village and midway between Kata Yai and Kata Noi beaches, the Kata Minta is a small boutique style hotel offering just 12 rooms that are simple, yet nicely outfitted with an ethnic Thai ambiance.

Positioned on the small headland that separates Kata Yai from Kata Noi, the Kata Sun Beach Inn is a delightful budget hotel with good clean accommodation and only 100 meters or so from Kata Yai Beach. Guestrooms are of ample size for a budget hotel and complete with most amenities and modern facilities. Just outside the hotel are any number of shops and fine restaurants. All in all a nice hotel with friendly service and atmosphere.

Smack in the centre of the Town of Kata, the Kata Smile Inn is a cosy little budget hotel that offers Superior and Deluxe accommodation with a reasonable range of facilities. Guestrooms are surprisingly large for such a small budget hotel and clean as a whistle as well. With Kata Beach only a five minutes walk from the hotel, the Smile Inn Kata Beach is an interesting option for those on a tight budget and do not need to be directly on the beach.
